Advanced Training for International Law Enforcement & Security Professionals

Learn from Global Experience – Respond with Confidence

Why Train With AscendLTC?

AscendLTC’s Law Enforcement Programs (LEP) bridge classroom learning with the realities faced by officers worldwide. Our courses are taught by veteran investigators with decades of high-stakes policing experience, delivering lessons tested in one of the world’s most complex cities—New York—adapted to the needs of diverse regions from Europe to the Middle East to Asia-Pacific.

Whether you work in Oslo, Singapore, Bucharest, or Nairobi—as an officer, investigator, coroner, or forensic professional—our programs provide what academies often leave out: field-tested strategies, culturally sensitive insights, and practical tools you can apply immediately. We don’t just teach methods; we equip professionals to navigate real-world complexity across borders.

We bring real-world experience to the classroom

Why Global Lessons from NYC Translate Everywhere

New York City is a microcosm of global challenges—migration, organized crime, terrorism, cyber threats, trafficking. The experience our instructors gained there resonates far beyond the U.S. From Paris to Bangkok, Birmingham to Istanbul, investigators face the same pressures of diversity, cross-border networks, and rapid change. Our training translates those hard-earned lessons into strategies relevant for Europe, MENA, and Asia-Pacific policing realities.

Today he leads Elite Homicide Investigation Training, where he translates decades of real cases into usable strategies. Known for his sharp analysis and engaging delivery, Pete ensures every participant leaves with tools that can be applied immediately, whether in Paris, Bucharest, or Singapore.

As commanding officer of New York’s Special Victims Division, he directed cases where cultural nuance, trauma, and legal precision all determined outcomes.

Today, Steven shares that expertise in Sex Crimes Investigation Training—a program designed for professionals in any country where investigators must balance victim care, evidentiary rigor, and public trust. Whether interviewing survivors in Paris, addressing trafficking concerns in Bucharest, or handling high-profile cases in Singapore, his lessons apply globally.

Steven’s teaching is direct, practical, and deeply informed by trauma-aware methods. His sessions combine legal accuracy, emotional intelligence, and frontline realism to prepare investigators for one of policing’s most demanding fields.

Instructors: Ret. Detective Pete Panuccio & Conflict Resolution Specialist Eric Friedman

This two-day intensive equips law enforcement professionals worldwide with tools to calm volatile encounters, build trust in culturally diverse communities, and secure reliable information under pressure. Whether de-escalating a protest in Madrid, speaking with a witness after a bombing in Nairobi, or managing biker gang conflicts in Vilnius, the program blends investigative skill with conflict resolution strategies that work across cultures and legal systems.

Instructors: Ret. Captain Steven Green & Eric Friedman

Trauma affects how people remember, communicate, and trust authority—making interviews with victims and witnesses some of the most delicate moments in any investigation. This course trains professionals to conduct effective, culturally sensitive, and emotionally aware interviews. From immigrant communities in Oslo to survivors of trafficking in Bucharest or Kuala Lumpur, participants learn to gather reliable information while minimizing retraumatization and strengthening community confidence.

Instructors: Ret. Det. Sgt. Pete Panuccio & Ret. Captain Steven Green

This two-day course examines how narcotics move from local street sales to global supply chains, and how investigators can intervene at every level. Participants explore how synthetic drugs flow through Bangkok’s nightlife, how cartels exploit ports in Southern Europe, or how opioids affect communities from Birmingham to Bucharest. With real-case debriefs and scenario-based exercises, the program emphasizes not just arrests but dismantling pipelines across borders.

Instructor: Capt. Steven Green (Ret. NYPD)

Human trafficking thrives in every region, from labor exploitation in the Gulf, to sex trafficking in Southeast Asia, to coercion along Europe’s migration routes. This two-day course equips investigators, NGOs, and victim advocates to identify victims, intervene with sensitivity, and build cases that survive legal and public scrutiny. Participants learn survivor-centered strategies, interagency cooperation, and global best practices—whether working in Paris, Dubai, or Nairobi.

This two-day program helps investigators, regulators, and compliance professionals understand how money laundering sustains organized crime, trafficking, and corruption worldwide. By tracking illicit flows, investigators often uncover the networks behind drugs, gangs, and terrorism.

Participants learn how launderers exploit shell companies in Cyprus, cash businesses in Nairobi, luxury real estate in Dubai, or cryptocurrency hubs in Singapore. The program connects international AML and KYC standards—such as EU directives, FATF guidance, and Asia-Pacific regulatory frameworks—with practical investigative strategies. The result: the skills to follow financial trails and strengthen cases anywhere in the world.
